Walmart is offering an excellent streaming deal, which will net you Peacock or Paramount+ for just $49.99. Paramount+ is raising its prices in January, to $90 for a full year, so this 12-month Black Friday deal is your chance to beat the price hike.
Looking forward to watching Star Trek: Starfleet Academy this January? Paramount+ is the only place to catch it, plus you can watch virtually every Star Trek show and movie. If you’re a sci-fi fan, you’ll be astonished by the sheer choice of content on offer. Never watched the old Twilight Zone series? Fire up Paramount Plus and see what you’ve been missing. It doesn’t matter if you don’t live near a Walmart, this is your chance to claim a great sci-fi streaming deal.

Don’t worry if your friends and family aren’t into sci-fi, there’s plenty to occupy them this holiday season. Fire up Paramount Plus and you can tune into movies like Top Gun: Maverick, There Will Be Blood, shows such as Dexter: Resurrection and Tulsa King. That last one is a guilty pleasure for me, a show that makes the most of Sylvester Stallone’s range. If anyone in your household complains that there’s nothing to watch, then you can hand them the remote and let them explore a near-limitless world of entertainment.
Key features: $49.99 for a full year and you can switch between Paramount+ and Peacock’s ad-supported tiers every 90 days.
Price history: We’ve seen Paramount+ deals in previous years, and there’s currently a $2.99 a month offer, but that’s just for two months. This deal nets you up to a year of Paramount+ for just $50.
Review consensus: This is a great deal, since apart from beating the price hike, you’re not locked into Paramount+ or Peacock forever. There’s so much sci-fi content to stream on Paramount, from classic movies like Total Recall through to the entire Star Trek back catalogue. Peacock also features shows like Resident Alien and La Brea. You really are spoilt for choice.
✅ Buy it if: You’re a sci-fi fan who wants access to a massive library of shows, movies and more, and the non-sci-fi material should keep family members happy, too.
❌ Don’t buy it if: You don’t want to have to keep Walmart+ for a year, since this is a 12-month deal.
