While the Sony A7R IV was a great camera, the Sony has stepped up its game with this model, including the addition of a 4-axis, multi-angle 3.2-inch LCD screen. On top of that, the video settings have been seriously tweaked, and its AI autofocus is genuinely impressive.

As multi-purpose cameras go, the Sony A7R V is fantastic, capable of capturing most subjects, low light shooting included, and it’s an ideal upgrade from your old, tired camera, even at its regular RRP. But, at this price, it’s an absolute steal.

In our full Sony A7R V review, we were seriously impressed by the way the camera built on its predecessor, the Sony A7R IV. Changes included a vastly superior viewfinder, AI autofocus (including noise reduction features) and more. At $900 off it’s a steal, though you’ll still need to buy your own lens since this deal is just for the body.

This camera is a real all-rounder, with its massive 61MP resolution and eight stops of in-body image stabilization (IBIS). It appears in many of our buying guides, including the best cameras for astrophotography,best cameras for low-light photographyand best cameras for timelapse.

Its dual memory card slots are a real boon, too, especially if you’re going to capture images in RAW format. Reviewer Kimberley Lane was a little disappointed that the camera’s high-ISO images are noisy, but the AI denoise tools essentially took care of that. At $900 off, this is an excellent upgrade option for anyone looking to take their photography to the next level.
