March 6, 2026 – Washington, D.C.—The Commercial Space Federation (CSF) is pleased to welcome Leolabs,  the American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR), and SurgeStreams. Together, these organizations strengthen CSF’s diverse membership across orbital intelligence, space research, and commercial space supply chain innovation.

American Society for Gravitational and Space Research (ASGSR): A nonprofit organization that represents the areas of biological and physical sciences focuses on the understanding of responses of biological and physical systems to variable gravity conditions, and the ASGSR provides a forum to foster research, education and professional development in the multidisciplinary fields of gravitational life and physical science research. ASGSR brings together scientists and engineers from academia, government, and industry to encourage an exchange of ideas bridging basic and applied biological and physical sciences research and technology in space and on the ground, bonded by a common issue – how living organisms and physical systems respond to gravity (e.g. low-gravity, hypergravity, etc.).

“ASGSR is pleased to join the Commercial Space Federation as an associate member.  This is an exciting time for biological and physical sciences research in, of, and for space as new low Earth orbit platforms come on-line and the nation sets our sights on the Moon and Mars.  ASGSR looks forward to working through CSF to share how research, technology, and flight systems development in gravitational biology, radiation biology, physical sciences, bioastronautics, and astrobiology can enable exploration and the role of the research community as a customer for emerging commercial capabilities.”  Ellen Gersen, Executive Director, ASGSR

LeoLabs: The world’s leading mission partner for persistent Orbital Intelligence. We enable military space commands, civil government agencies, and commercial operators to confidently detect, track, characterize, and respond to threats in space. Our proliferated, multi-mission radar network, real-time orbital data catalog, and AI-powered analytics support secure, safe, and dynamic space operations.

Joining the Commercial Space Federation (CSF) reflects LeoLabs’ commitment to advancing a safe, sustainable, and resilient space environment,” said LeoLabs Chief of Corporate Affairs Karen Cox. “As activity in space accelerates, coordinated leadership and engagement are essential. CSF has proven to be a strong advocate for the space community, and we look forward to contributing to and supporting their efforts.”

SurgeStreams:  SurgeStreams is a space-focused IT advisory and implementation firm helping organizations modernize their digital infrastructure, strengthen supply chain systems, and build secure, scalable platforms for mission-critical operations across the commercial space ecosystem.

“ We’re excited to join the Commercial Space Federation at a time when modernization is becoming central to the future of commercial space. As the industry scales, digital infrastructure, supply chain visibility, and operational resilience are no longer optional — they’re foundational. CSF plays a critical role in bringing leaders together to align policy with innovation, and we’re looking forward to contributing to conversations that help modernize and strengthen the broader space ecosystem.” — Asim Robinson, Chief Information Officer, SurgeStreams

About CSF
Founded in 2006, the Commercial Space Federation (CSF) and its members are laying the foundation for democratizing access to outer space for scientists, students, civilians, and businesses. All while working towards the goal of expanding the U.S. Commercial Space Economy. Through the promotion of technological innovation, CSF and its diverse membership are guiding the bolstering of U.S. leadership in aerospace and inspiring America’s next generation of engineers and explorers. CSF also serves as the commercial space industry’s primary advocate with the U.S. Congress and the Administration, helping inform the development and implementation of policy priorities. By engaging with congressional players, CSF is able to provide recommendations on commercial space issues that will impact the commercial space industry in the short and long term.
