Global Space Leaders Converge in Paris for Novaspace Summits

When the global space community looks ahead to September, all eyes turn to Paris. From September 15–19, 2025, the French capital will become the decision-making hub of the space domain, bringing together more than 1,800 leaders, 250+ speakers, and 600+ organizations from over 60 countries.

At the center of it all are the Novaspace Summits: three flagship events that have grown into the world’s most influential platform for space dialogue, strategy, and deal-making.

Three Summits, One Stage

World Space Business Week (WSBW) – Now in its 28th year, WSBW is the premier marketplace for satellite communications, Earth observation, connectivity, mobility, and space infrastructure. With 1,400 decision-makers and 200+ top-tier speakers, it has become the annual meeting point for CEOs, investors, and policymakers shaping the business of space.

Space Defense and Security Summit (SDSS) – Launched in 2024 and returning by popular demand, SDSS convenes 300+ senior officials and 60+ speakers from defense, government, and industry. It addresses the pressing challenges of deterrence, resilience, and secure space architectures in an era of rapid geopolitical change.

Space Innovation Summit (SPIN) – The newest addition, SPIN is dedicated to disruptive technologies, dual-use innovation, and start-up ecosystems. With start-up showcases, expert panels, and an awards ceremony, it connects founders, corporates, investors, and institutions to explore the breakthroughs that will define tomorrow.

Held in strategic proximity across Paris, the three summits form a powerful ecosystem — linking defense, business, and innovation in ways no other event does.

A World-Class Lineup

This year’s confirmed speakers reflect the breadth of the space domain:

  • European Commissioner Andrius Kubilius
  • General Brian W. Gibson, U.S. Space Command
  • General Vincent Chusseau, French Space Command
  • General Michael Traut, German Space Command
  • Jeong Gyuheon, Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA)
  • Josef Aschbacher, European Space Agency (ESA)
  • Gwynne Shotwell, SpaceX
  • Adel Al-Saleh, SES
  • Max Haot, Vast
  • Jean-François Fallacher, Eutelsat Group
  • Ricky Freeman, Amazon Kuiper Government Services

…and many other generals, commissioners, CEOs, and innovators leading the future of space.

Why It Matters

The Novaspace Summits arrive at a pivotal moment for the sector. Commercial ambitions, defense imperatives, and breakthrough innovation are converging like never before. As nations build resilience, investors search for growth, and new entrants challenge traditional models, Paris provides an unparalleled platform for the conversations and partnerships that will shape the next era of space.

With these three summits taking place simultaneously, Paris becomes the decision-making hub for the global space domain,” said Pacôme Révillon, CEO of Novaspace. “We are proud to host the partnerships and strategies that will influence this domain for years to come.”
