NASA/APS Lewis & Clark Fund for Exploration And Field Research in Astrobiology

The American Philosophical Society and the NASA Astrobiology Program have partnered to promote the continued exploration of the world around us through a research award of up to $5,000 in support of astrobiological field studies.

Graduate students, postdoctoral students, and early career scientists wishing to perform field studies in support of their research and formally affiliated with U.S. institutions are eligible to submit applications.

Deadline: November 3, 2025
Award Amount: $5,000 maximum
