NASA Astronaut Highlights Busy Month for International Space Station with Cargo Departures

A recent social media post by European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot highlighted a busy period for the International Space Station, with three cargo vehicles departing in just three weeks. In her video update, Adenot noted that they had also recently bid farewell to a Progress spacecraft.

The Northrop Grumman Cygnus NG23, officially named the S.S. William “Willie” McCool,” honors the late NASA astronaut and test pilot who tragically died in the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia disaster. Following a naval tradition, Jack, another astronaut with a Navy background, rang the Station bell to commemorate the launch of the spacecraft.

Adenot encourages the public to stay updated on her mission by following her activities on the εpsilon page and various social media platforms, including X, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
