The Celestron Cometron 7×50 binoculars are our best family binoculars because they are easy to use for everyone. They are quite big but only weigh 1.7 lbs, so they are good for aiming at different night sky objects easily without straining your arms. At 7x magnification, you can get a closer look at whatever night sky objects you want, whether that be planets, star clusters or comets!

In our Celestron Cometron 7×50 binoculars review, we thought that they wouldn’t be that great but honestly, we ended up loving them and thought they were an amazing, cheap entry to binocular skywatching. We loved their wide field of view and good optics for their low price under fifty dollars.

They are ideal for a beginner skywatcher who wants a better view of the night sky but doesn’t want to spend loads on it just yet. They have 7x magnification, which is a good level for a more detailed look but not so much that you will have to worry that much about a shaky handheld view. 50mm objective lenses also allow plenty of light in, so you have a chance of observation when hunting for dim star clusters and galaxies.

They are a great value pair of binoculars, even with a regular retail price of $48, and they are now on sale for $35 on Amazon, their lowest price since September last year. In fact, they are even cheaper now than they were on Black Friday!
