(NewsNation) — NASA and SpaceX successfully launched the Crew-11 mission Friday in its second attempt.
The initial launch was scrubbed Thursday due to weather conditions.
The mission launched the Crew-11 to the International Space Station, with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Dragon capsule blasting off from Kennedy Space Station.
The mission will carry NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Kimiya Yui and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov for a roughly six-month stay on the ISS.
