The views from this monocular are stunning thanks to a combination of optical technology that makes the subject bright and true-to-color. BaK-4 prisms provide maximum light transmission and a clear edge-to-edge image with a circular exit pupil. Extra-low dispersion glass eliminates color fringing from chromatic aberration and fully multi-coated optics boost brightness and contrast.

These excellent optics make them ideal for use in dark and gloomy conditions during the day and make them ideal for stargazing thanks to sharp light transmission and optical clarity. It is also a good option for eyeglasses wearers with the Bushnell Legend Ultra 10×42 offering 15.2mm of eye relief.

If you want the best color fidelity from a monocular, we would recommend the Python Rangemaster 12×52 monocular, which we gave four stars for its very high light transfer and 12x magnification. This would be better for those stargazers who are searching for faint galaxies or if viewing wildlife from a large distance.
